TAMPA CONVENTION CENTER ADVERTISING + SPONSORED RIDES

Put Your Brand on the Waterfront.

The Tampa Convention Center sits in one of those rare convention districts where the show does not end at the doors. Step outside and the crowd spills directly into the Tampa Riverwalk, Water Street, nearby hotels, restaurants, Amalie Arena, and the rest of downtown Tampa.

That is exactly where Kween Cab fits. We turn pedicabs into mobile OOH, sponsored transportation, and street-level brand experiences that keep working while attendees move between the convention center and everything around it.

A quarter mile on a map sounds easy. A quarter mile in conference shoes, Florida heat, and a lanyard full of meetings feels different.

TAMPA CONVENTION CENTER

A Compact District With a Lot of Movement.

Tampa Convention Center offers roughly 600,000 square feet of event space, including a 200,000-square-foot exhibit hall, and sits directly on the Tampa Riverwalk. Embassy Suites is connected by skybridge, while Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott Tampa Water Street are about 0.2 miles away.

That density is useful. Attendees are constantly moving among the show floor, hotel rooms, hosted dinners, meetings, bars, Water Street, the Riverwalk, and nearby entertainment. A branded pedicab can be transportation, media, or both - without needing the audience to go looking for it.

THE BIG SHOWS AT TCC

This Is Where the Opportunity Gets Interesting.

Tampa Convention Center expected more than 100 events and roughly 326,000 attendees in 2026. But the real advertising opportunity is not the annual total. It is the concentration of very specific audiences that arrive for the center's biggest conventions and event weeks.

SOF Week

One of Tampa's most strategically important annual events. SOF Week has called the Tampa Convention Center home for more than a decade and brings together more than 19,000 special operations personnel, military leaders, acquisition professionals, international partners, and defense-industry companies. The event expands beyond the building into nearby hotels and the Riverwalk, including live demonstrations. For exhibitors and defense brands, this is a concentrated, high-value audience moving through the downtown waterfront district for several days.

Tampa Bay Comic Convention

One of the convention center's largest annual public events, with more than 25,000 visitors expected in 2026. Cosplay, comics, gaming, celebrities, vendors, and fandom create a visually loud crowd and a natural environment for branded vehicles, sponsored rides, social content, giveaways, and consumer-facing activations.

METROCON

Florida's major anime convention takes over the entire Tampa Convention Center each summer. METROCON reported 15,142 unique attendees in 2025 and more than 33,000 turnstile visits. It is exactly the kind of multi-day, highly engaged audience where a well-branded pedicab can become part of the event atmosphere instead of just another ad.

Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic Race Weekend

The race weekend expo brings a large stream of runners, families, sponsors, and spectators through the convention center as downtown Tampa is already operating in full event mode. The convention center's planning materials projected roughly 36,000 attendees for the 2026 race-weekend trade-show activity, creating another strong street-level branding window.

EXHIBITORLIVE

Smaller than the fan conventions, but commercially interesting for an entirely different reason: the audience is made up of trade-show and corporate marketing professionals. Tampa welcomed about 2,000 of these event-industry decision makers in 2026. For Kween Cab, that is not just a crowd - it is a room full of people who buy experiential media, sponsorships, convention activations, and event services.

Connect Marketplace

Another compact but high-value B2B audience. The 2026 Tampa edition brought more than 3,000 meeting and event professionals together, including hosted buyers, planners, suppliers, hotels, destinations, and trade-show executives. A smart street-level campaign here can put a brand in front of the people who plan other events for a living.

MOBILE OOH AROUND TCC

Be Seen After the Badge Scan.

Inside the hall, exhibitors compete with hundreds of booths, signs, screens, giveaways, and sales pitches. Outside, the field gets a lot less crowded.

Branded pedicabs can circulate through appropriate routes around the convention center, Riverwalk access points, Water Street, nearby hotels, dining areas, and other high-traffic destinations. Campaigns can incorporate full wraps, branded panels, wheel covers, driver apparel, QR codes, and other creative elements.

The point is simple: keep the brand visible while the audience is moving, not only when they happen to be standing in front of the booth.

SPONSORED RIDES

Save the Walk. Own the Moment.

Tampa's convention district is compact enough that many trips look walkable and spread out enough that attendees are very happy when somebody offers them a ride.

A sponsor can cover the fare so attendees ride free while the branded pedicab connects useful points around the convention district. Depending on the event and approved operating footprint, that can include the convention center, nearby hotels, Water Street, restaurants, meetings, hospitality events, and other downtown destinations.

The result is not just another impression. The brand just did something useful.

FOR EXHIBITORS

Your Booth Has Walls. Your Campaign Does Not Have To.

A strong booth gets attention inside the convention center. A strong street plan keeps the same brand in front of attendees before the show, after the show, between meetings, and on the way to dinner.

Kween Cab can help exhibitors extend a convention campaign with branded pedicabs, sponsored attendee rides, QR-driven calls to action, sampling, promotional distribution, and driver branding. The objective is not to replace the booth. It is to make the booth campaign harder to escape.

FOR AGENCIES + EVENT MARKETERS

A Street-Level Asset That Can Plug Into the Bigger Plan.

Kween Cab can work directly with brands or as the local street-level operating piece inside a larger experiential, media, sponsorship, or event-production program.

Bring the creative. Bring the client objective. Bring the show dates. We can help determine the fleet mix, branding approach, ride structure, activation footprint, and practical deployment plan.

You should not have to become a pedicab operator to buy pedicab media.

STREET TEAMS + SAMPLING

Add People to the Media Plan.

Pedicabs get attention. Brand ambassadors can do something with it. Street teams can support product sampling, promotional distribution, QR engagement, attendee direction, pickup-point support, and other campaign tasks around the convention district where permitted.

For a larger activation, the vehicles and the people can work together instead of operating as separate ideas.

PROOF OF PERFORMANCE

Know What Happened After the Show.

Depending on the campaign, reporting can include ride counts, route activity, GPS route data, campaign photography, activation notes, and other proof-of-performance information appropriate to the program.

The reporting should match the campaign. A sponsored-ride program should not be measured exactly like a mobile billboard deployment, and a sampling activation should not be measured like either one.

PLANNING A CAMPAIGN AT TCC?

Tell Us the Show. We Will Help With the Street.

Send us the convention, dates, objective, and audience. We can help determine whether the right mix is branded pedicabs, sponsored rides, mobile OOH, street teams, sampling, or a combination.

You do not need to know the exact route, fleet size, or pickup plan before contacting us. That is part of what we are here to solve.
