AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL ADVERTISING

Two Weekends. One Giant Brand Playground.

Austin City Limits Music Festival turns Zilker Park into one of the country’s biggest recurring music crowds - then sends that audience back into Austin for hotels, dinners, rides, aftershows, brand events, nightlife, and everything else that happens before and after the gates.

For brands already spending heavily inside ACL, Kween Cab extends the campaign beyond the festival footprint with pedicab advertising, sponsored rides, mobile OOH, street teams, and branded movement through the parts of Austin festivalgoers actually use.

ACL IS NOT A ONE-DAY IMPRESSION

Six Festival Days. Two Weekends. Repeated Exposure.

ACL Fest runs across two three-day weekends in Zilker Park. In 2026, the festival dates are October 2-4 and October 9-11, with 100+ performances across nine stages and a daily audience of roughly 75,000 people.

That repeatability matters. A campaign can build frequency across multiple days, multiple arrival windows, multiple artist schedules, and two separate weekends instead of trying to make one crowd surge do all the work.

The result is a rare combination: festival-scale reach with enough duration to create actual media frequency.

THE BRAND ECOSYSTEM IS ALREADY THERE

We Are Not Trying to Convince ACL Brands to Believe in Experiential.

ACL already attracts a deep sponsor roster. The 2026 partner lineup includes American Express, T-Mobile, Miller Lite, Snapchat, AWS, Tito’s, Coca-Cola, Lyft, Salesforce, JBL, Allianz, Defender, Patrón, Jim Beam, Aperol, and many others.

Inside the park, those brands are already operating lounges, giveaways, charging stations, photo moments, product experiences, hospitality, and other fan-facing activations. The opportunity for Kween Cab is not to replace that investment. It is to extend it into the movement surrounding the festival.

A branded pedicab can keep the campaign visible after the fan leaves the sponsor footprint, exits Zilker, heads toward dinner, catches an aftershow, or works back toward a hotel or downtown meeting point.

SPONSORED RIDES

Make the Brand Useful Before the First Set.

ACL creates exactly the kind of short, high-friction trips that sponsored rides are good at solving. People are arriving from hotels, parking areas, neighborhoods, rideshare drop zones, restaurants, and downtown. At the end of the night, thousands of them are trying to make the same trip in reverse.

A sponsored ride gives the brand a job to do. The sponsor covers the ride. The fan gets transportation. The campaign becomes hospitality instead of another logo competing for attention.

That can work around pre-festival movement, post-festival exits, approved pickup areas, hospitality programs, branded destinations, or other event-specific routes where operating conditions allow.

MOBILE OOH AROUND ACL

The Audience Leaves Zilker. The Campaign Does Not Have To.

Branded pedicabs can carry campaign creative through the Austin streets surrounding the broader ACL weekend experience. Wraps, panels, wheel covers, driver apparel, QR codes, and other campaign elements turn the vehicle into media that moves with the audience.

The goal is not random circulation. The campaign should be planned around the useful movement windows: pre-festival arrivals, post-show exits, hotel traffic, downtown hospitality, official or unofficial aftershow activity, restaurants, nightlife, and brand events happening around the festival weekend.

ACL FEST NIGHTS + THE CITY AFTER DARK

The Festival Ends. Austin Keeps Going.

ACL Fest Nights, presented by American Express in 2026, extends the weekend into Austin venues after the main festival day winds down. Add restaurants, bars, hotels, private sponsor events, artist appearances, and nightlife, and the usable audience footprint becomes much larger than Zilker Park alone.

That is where street-level media can earn additional value: the brand stays visible during the parts of the weekend that happen between the headline moments.

STREET TEAMS + SAMPLING

Give the Moving Media Something to Connect To.

Street teams can support the fleet with product sampling, promotional distribution, QR engagement, ride pickup support, directional help, and campaign-specific messaging.

For a sponsor already investing in an ACL activation, that creates a second layer of reach outside the activation footprint - with real people engaging festivalgoers while the mobile media keeps moving through the same audience.

AUSTIN IS NOT NEW TERRITORY FOR US

Kween Cab Started Here.

Kween Cab was founded in Austin in 2008 and has spent years working the city’s major event environments. That history includes SXSW, Circuit of The Americas, Formula 1, concerts, festivals, and other high-volume Austin event days.

That does not mean ACL gets a recycled route from another event. It means we understand the practical difference between selling an idea on a map and operating it when Austin is packed.

BUILT FOR BRANDS + AGENCIES

Plug It Into the Bigger Campaign.

Kween Cab can work directly with brands or plug into larger experiential, media, sponsorship, hospitality, and agency programs. The fleet can support awareness, sponsored transportation, product launches, hospitality, sampling, QR engagement, or other street-level objectives around ACL weekend.

If the campaign already includes an in-park activation, a hotel takeover, an aftershow, a hospitality event, or a broader Austin media buy, the pedicabs should connect to that strategy rather than sit beside it as a disconnected add-on.

PROOF OF PERFORMANCE

Show What Happened After the Fleet Hit the Street.

Depending on the program, reporting can include ride counts, route activity, GPS route data, photography, activation notes, QR performance inputs, and other proof-of-performance elements appropriate to the campaign.

For agency and national-brand buyers, that makes the street execution easier to document, recap, and defend after the festival ends.

PLANNING AN ACL CAMPAIGN?

Two Weekends Gives Us Room to Work.

Tell us the brand, objective, dates, audience, and what else is already happening around ACL. We can help determine whether the right program is mobile OOH, sponsored rides, street teams, hospitality support, or a combination.

The important part is not simply putting a logo on a pedicab. It is deciding where that branded vehicle becomes useful during one of Austin’s biggest weekends.
