PROFESSIONAL SPORTS OOH

PROFESSIONAL SPORTS OOH + SPONSORED RIDES

Put the Brand in the Crowd Before They Ever Reach Their Seats.

Professional sports are built around movement long before the opening whistle, kickoff, first pitch or tip. Fans pour through parking lots, transit stops, bars, restaurants, hotels, tailgates, fan zones and stadium districts for hours before and after the event. That movement is where Kween Cab puts brands to work.

Kween Cab regularly operates around NFL and MLS game-day environments and also supports NBA and other major sports events. The format works because it is not tied to one league: branded pedicabs can function as mobile OOH, sponsored transportation and direct fan engagement wherever dense game-day traffic creates a street-level media opportunity.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Game Is Inside. A Lot of the Marketing Opportunity Is Outside.

Stadium and arena advertising does not have to stop at the gates. For agencies, sponsors and experiential teams, the surrounding district can become another layer of the campaign—one that reaches fans while they are still walking, waiting, gathering, eating, drinking, checking into hotels, leaving parking garages or trying to get to the venue.

That is especially useful around NFL and MLS games, where large outdoor crowds and extended pregame activity create long windows for visibility and interaction. The same model can be adapted for NBA, MLB and NHL environments, rivalry games, playoffs, championship weekends, fan festivals and other professional sports moments.

HOW BRANDS CAN USE IT

One Vehicle. Several Jobs.

Mobile OOH

Branded pedicabs circulate through game-day corridors instead of waiting for the audience to pass a fixed sign.

Hospitality Support

Sponsored transportation can connect hotels, hospitality locations, restaurants, parking areas and event districts.

Proof of Performance

Ride counts, route tracking, GPS data, heat maps, photos and field notes can document what happened on the street.

BUILT FOR AGENCIES + SPORTS MARKETERS

The Street-Level Piece Should Not Become Another Production Problem.

Kween Cab can provide the vehicles, drivers, routing, sponsored-ride structure, field execution and reporting so the agency or brand team does not have to invent a transportation operation around the media plan. The activation can stand alone or extend an existing sponsorship, hospitality program, fan zone, experiential build or game-day media buy.

THE CHALLENGE

Put the Brand Into the Movement Around the Arena.

Hard Rock Bet wanted visibility around an Orlando NBA Playoffs environment where fans were moving among downtown parking, hotels, restaurants, bars and the arena. The useful media window was not limited to what happened inside the building. It existed across the surrounding streets before and after the game.

THE EXECUTION

Make the Media Useful Enough That Fans Get In.

Working through Jack Morton Worldwide, Kween Cab operated branded pedicabs around the downtown Orlando game-day footprint. Dedicated routes and established pickup areas kept vehicles close to useful pedestrian traffic while sponsored rides gave fans an immediate benefit: an easier way to move around downtown.

Drivers followed campaign-specific routing and activation instructions. The pedicabs functioned simultaneously as moving media, branded transportation and direct fan touchpoints rather than as static signage waiting for impressions.

The Campaign Combined

  • Mobile OOH visibility around an active professional-sports district.
  • Sponsored rides that converted advertising into something fans could use.
  • Branded vehicles and driver-facing campaign execution.
  • Defined routing and pickup strategy built around actual pedestrian movement.
  • QR and activation instructions connecting the street experience back to the campaign.
  • Ride counts and proof-of-performance reporting after execution.

WHY THIS CASE STUDY MATTERS

NBA Was the Campaign. Professional Sports Is the Use Case.

The Hard Rock Bet execution happened during the NBA Playoffs, but the reason it worked is the same reason the model is useful around NFL and MLS games—the sports Kween Cab works around most often—as well as MLB, NHL and other major game-day environments. Fans move through predictable street-level corridors. Sponsors want more ways to reach them. A branded ride can create visibility, utility and interaction at the same time.

For agencies searching for professional sports OOH, stadium advertising, arena advertising, NFL advertising, MLS advertising, NBA advertising, MLB advertising, NHL advertising, game-day activations or sports experiential marketing, the Hard Rock Bet campaign is the proof point. The broader opportunity is everything happening around the next stadium, arena or match-day district.
