DALLAS CONVENTION ADVERTISING

Dallas Brings Buyers. Put Your Brand in Their Path.

Dallas is not a one-venue convention market. That is exactly why it is useful.

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas brings major consumer shows, meetings, competitions, and national events into Downtown. A few miles away, Dallas Market Center operates one of the largest wholesale trade ecosystems in North America, with more than 30 annual buying events across a five-million-square-foot campus.

Kween Cab gives exhibitors, sponsors, agencies, and brands a way to move beyond the booth with branded pedicabs, sponsored rides, mobile OOH, sampling, and street-team activation built around where the audience is actually moving.

THE BIG DALLAS SHOWS

This Is Where the Opportunity Starts.

The strongest Dallas campaigns start with the show, not with a generic media package. Different events bring different audiences, different movement patterns, and very different reasons to get a brand onto the street.

TOTAL HOME & GIFT MARKET

One of Dallas Market Center’s signature buying events, Total Home & Gift Market brings tens of thousands of retailers, designers, buying groups, and major store representatives into Dallas. For an exhibitor, this is a high-intent audience that is already in market to discover products and place orders. A branded pedicab or sponsored ride program can keep the brand visible beyond the showroom and into the hotel, restaurant, and evening-event movement surrounding market week.

LIGHTOVATION

Dallas Market Center describes Lightovation as the largest residential lighting trade event in North America. That makes it a concentrated audience of lighting buyers, designers, specifiers, manufacturers, and showroom decision makers—exactly the kind of B2B crowd where repeated visibility outside the exhibit space can matter.

APPAREL & ACCESSORIES + KIDSWORLD + WESA + AETA

Dallas does something particularly useful for brands: several trade markets often run concurrently. Apparel & Accessories, KidsWorld, the WESA International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market, and the AETA International Trade Show can put retailers, manufacturers, sales reps, buyers, and fashion/equestrian brands on the same campus at the same time. That creates a bigger movement pattern than any one showroom floor suggests—and a strong case for mobile OOH, sponsored transportation, and coordinated street teams.

FAN EXPO DALLAS

FAN EXPO Dallas is billed by the convention center as the largest sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event in Texas. For entertainment, gaming, collectibles, food and beverage, telecom, apparel, and consumer brands, that is a very different kind of opportunity: a dense fan audience, long dwell times, strong visual culture, and an environment where a well-branded vehicle can actually become part of the experience.

ARCHLIGHT SUMMIT + DALLAS DESIGN WEEK

ArchLIGHT Summit and Dallas Design Week bring lighting, architecture, interiors, specification, and design professionals together at Dallas Market Center. The audience is smaller than a giant fan convention but commercially valuable: specifiers, designers, manufacturers, reps, and buyers with real purchasing influence. For the right exhibitor or sponsor, precision can matter more than raw headcount.

COLLECT-A-CON + OTHER HIGH-TRAFFIC DOWNTOWN EVENTS

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center continues to host consumer shows and high-traffic events including Collect-A-Con, HYROX, specialty expos, competitions, and other large gatherings. Not every event needs its own page, but each can create a short, concentrated window where mobile media and sponsored rides make more sense than a citywide campaign.

TWO DALLAS EVENT ENGINES

Downtown + Market Center. Different Crowds. Same Goal.

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas and Dallas Market Center serve different kinds of events, but both create the same opportunity: thousands of people moving between event space, hotels, parking, dining, meetings, and off-site functions.

KBHCCD is currently operating through a phased redevelopment. Halls A, B, and C remain active while sections D, E, and F have been decommissioned for construction, with a new expanded facility planned for 2030. Dallas Market Center, meanwhile, continues to operate year-round across its five-million-square-foot campus and more than 30 annual buying events.

That is why this page is intentionally about Dallas convention advertising—not one building. The campaign should follow the audience that is actually in town.

MOBILE OOH THAT LEAVES THE BOOTH

The Show Floor Is Only Part of the Day.

A booth gets attention while attendees are inside the event. Pedicab advertising extends that visibility into the moments around it: arrival, departure, hotel movement, meals, receptions, after-hours events, and the long walk between where someone is and where they are trying to go.

Branded pedicabs can carry wraps, panels, wheel covers, QR codes, and driver apparel while circulating through useful event corridors. The goal is not to drive random laps around Dallas. The goal is to put the brand where the show audience is moving.

SPONSORED RIDES

Give the Buyer, Exhibitor, or Fan Something Useful.

Sponsored rides turn the media into transportation. The advertiser covers the ride, the passenger rides at no charge, and the branded pedicab becomes both an OOH asset and a positive brand interaction.

For Dallas trade markets, that can mean moving buyers between a hotel and market activity. For a fan event, it can mean helping attendees cover the last stretch between parking, transit, the convention center, and nearby destinations. The program should be built around the specific event—not forced into the same route every time.

STREET TEAMS + SAMPLING

Because Sometimes the Cab Should Come With People.

Kween Cab can pair mobile media with brand ambassadors, product sampling, promotional distribution, QR engagement, directional support, and other street-level activation work.

That gives agencies and exhibitors a way to combine visibility with interaction: the pedicab gets noticed, the team gives people something to do with that attention.

PROOF OF PERFORMANCE

Show the Client What Happened After the Graphics Went On.

Depending on the program, reporting can include ride counts, route activity, operating notes, photography, video, QR engagement, and other proof-of-performance appropriate to the campaign.

A Dallas market-week activation and a three-day fan convention do not need the same scorecard. The reporting should match what the campaign was built to accomplish.

PLANNING A DALLAS CONVENTION CAMPAIGN?

Tell Us the Show. We’ll Build Around the Crowd.

Send us the event, dates, audience, campaign objective, and what you want people to notice, experience, or do. We can help determine whether the right mix is mobile OOH, sponsored rides, street teams, sampling, or a combination of them.

The useful question is not “Do you have pedicabs in Dallas?” It is “What should the pedicabs be doing when this audience gets here?”
